Command Post

Besides simply killing enemies, players fight for control of Command posts (abbreviated to CP), at which units respawn after death and players can swap out their character classes. Most command posts can be 'captured', by killing all enemies nearby and standing by the command post for a set amount of time, although it takes less time to take over a command post if there are multiple allied units nearby. Controlling a majority of the command posts scattered on a map results in the faster depletion of the enemy's forces, and allows the player to respawn in more locations. If all command posts are captured, the losing team has only twenty seconds to recapture one before the game ends in their defeat, regardless of the amount of reinforcements they have. As well as this the losing team will not be able to respwn there units if no CPs are controlled. In other game modes such as Capture the Flag or Assault, command posts cannot change ownership. In space battles CPs cannot change ownership as well. In space battles the objective is to win points by killing enemy units or destroying large spacecraft or spacecraft parts (engines, life support, etc).
